Nestle UK implements Omniscope
Nestle UK, the UK operation of the world's largest food company, has selected Visokio Omniscope as its preferred tool for retail data analysis across the 'Generating Demand' function which spans all of the UK operating divisions. Nestle will be using Omniscope to import and analyse data received from its major retail clients - the likes of Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco. Atheon Consulting has been engaged to provide training and consulting support to the Nestle GD team and establish a range of best practice processes and techniques.
The Nestle UK Globe team selected Omniscope after a year-long review of market technologies, and decided upon Omniscope as the most verstaile and powerful of all of the technologies reviewed. Trials through the second half of 2007 focused on analysing retail performance in areas such as out-of-stock impact, promotional performance and demand planning, as well as regular week-on-week broad category insight.
